You reach out and touch stuff when it feels natural to do so and revert to the keyboard and trackpad when it doesn’t. When you get your hands on a Windows laptop that has a touchscreen, it just makes sense. It blurs the line between macOS and iPadOS. Users will get themselves into a right state if they’re given touch control. There aren’t enough finger-sized touch targets. I’ve heard so many opinions on why Apple should or shouldn’t add touch support to Macs. Macs need touch support (and it isn’t a big deal) ![]()
